A New Court In Town (Spoilers For Changes)

In the history you know the species of vampire known as The Red Court were utterly wiped from existence after a curse the Red King had set into motion to wipe out the entire family line of one Harry Dresden was turned against them. The sudden power vacuum created by a major supernatural nation being rendered instantly extinct naturally instigated chaos as various species and groups such as the Fomor tried to take advantage of it.

But suppose an entity who will remain nameless decided to prevent this chaos by using its power to instantly import another vampire species from elsewhere to fill the ecological and geopolitical niche that the Red Court occupied. Kindred are plucked from their World of Darkness and transplanted to Dresden's world, with the resources, territory and political influence that the Red Court possessed distributed among the members of each of the five covenants and the unaligned in a way that roughly approximated their holdings relative to each other in their original world. They do not start off as signatories to the Unseelie Accords but they are informed of its existence and the prominent powers that are signatories. They do of course have the options of becoming signatories, either collectively as a vampire nation or on a piecemeal basis with each Prince or covenant leader becoming a Freeholding Lord.

So, how does this new "Gray Court" fare in the world that they find themselves in? What sort of relations will they have with the other denizens of the supernatural world? How are events changed by their presence? What do the other powers think of these new arrivals? What do each the covenants think about the world they find themselves in and the other creatures they share the night with? What sort of plans and agendas will they pursue?

What If The Kindred Were Dropped Into The Red Court's Place In The World Of The Dresden Files?

Ooh. Does this include the Methuselahs? Because that could get pretty bad, what with the Black Council seemingly determined to stir up such apocalyptic shenanigans as imbalances between the Summer and Winter Courts. (IIRC they were involved in that somewhere, as well as the Arctis Tor incident.)

Yup, Methuselahs are included. Oh, it's probably apparent but just to make things clear these are Requiem Kindred, not Masquerade. Thus no Antes and the like.

Hmm, it just occured to me being total unknowns that have not been infiltrated, the "Gray Court" by their very presence could throw a spanner into the Black Council's plans.
