My DVR is set for season 1, as I got into the show starting with the season 2 premiere.

    Season 2 was a fun sci-fi procedural.

Season 3 was off the hook over the top sci-fi fun!

Season 4 was an excruciating snooze-fest.

Season 5 is showing some promise as things wrap up, but Olivia is too much in the backround as of yet.
    Pull list:
Adv. Time, Avengers AI, Batgirl, Batman '66, B & R, BOP, E 2, Fearless Defenders, He-Man, JL: Dark, Katana, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ult. Spider-Man

A show in the deathslot on Fridays bothers you that much? You almost have to go out of your way to watch it to allow it to bother you.
Almost as much as going out of your way to go into a thread about the show you hate, actually...

But as long as we're being selfish about these things, wishing harmless shows to die that others might enjoy and all that...

Well we all have these shows that we don't watch and wish they would go away. Best examples, American Idols and Two and Half Men. It's pretty selfish but you can't change human beings from hating certain things and wishing they would go away.

But I will say this, my comment in retrospect was pretty misplaced because this is a thread about Fringe fans and for that I apologizes.

Kurt Busiek Says:"Best Avengers Run, Steve Englehart's run in the 1970s. With Roy Thomas's run that preceded it close behind, and the Conway/Shooter/Michelinie run that followed close behind that

Maybe not, but the individual, i.e. you, can make a conscious choice to not indulge their petty, selfish, thoughtless side so often.

That seems less Fringe Reborn, more Fringe Repeat.
The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!

Yeah: I watch a bunch of old sitcoms on Monday afternoon, as I have the day off. I don't consider Barney Miller, Golden Girls, Night Court etc. "reborn" on Mondays.
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...

    No, it'd still be repeats.

Really, between DVDs, Hulus, Netflixes and such... how many people even get the Science Channel? And if you do get it, do you get it in HD?

Do you get MeTV where you live? It's one of those digital subchannels, it's like 90s Nick at Nite, only superchaged.

I watched the series pilot last night, and whooo boy! The first hour was laughable in a VERY bad way as the writing was horrendous! Broyles called Olivia "honey" 2X, and Peter called Olivia "sweetheart" 2X in the first hour. Also in the first hour Peter came off as a selfish brat and Olivia despite her impressive resume came across as VERY "newbie".

But then in the second hour of the pilot a lot changed. The camera work became the familiar form of the show, and the writing and characterization by the actors all became familiar as well. It's like hour one and hour two were taped months apart from each other.

Two other funny things, in hour one both the actors who portray Broyles and Walter did not have the accents of their characters down completely until the second hour of the pilot. And poor Astrid didn't even have a speaking part until three scenes later! And who knew, Astrid was Olivia's official assistant before getting reassigned to Walter.

Looking forward to continuing to see all of season 1.

Is your problem with the fact that the show's being syndicated, or the fact that someone out there cares?

What do DVDs, Hulu, and Netflix have to do with my access to the Science Channel? And yes, I get it in HD.

I think that the problem is that with a thread title like "Fringe: Reborn", a fan would come in expecting news about a 6th season or perhaps a film, not bloody reruns.
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

Well, I didn't mean to mislead anyone. I just thought that the Science Channel's approach--squeezing in the entire series leading up to the finale--was interesting, and worth discussing. Didn't think it'd be worth getting upset over.

It probably is interesting and worthy to talk about. It's not really worthy of being called a rebirth.
