As much as I'm enjoying Minimum Carnage, I can't wait to get back to regular solo issues of Scarlet Spider. Sounds like there's some awesome things on the horizon.

I second that. Love Scarlet Spider, but haven't checked out Minimum Carnage. Is it worth a look?

It's been pretty enjoyable so far. Not quite as awesome as I was expecting, but definitely worth the 4 tie in issues (Alpha, Omega, and two issues of Venom) IMHO, especially if you enjoy Venom and/or Carnage. Be warned it has a very different feel to it than either book on its own. It's pretty sci-fi-ish

Not that into the symbiotes, really. But I'm willing to try if the quality is good!

    I'm in

Yost's Scarlett Spider has to be one of Marvel's most underrated books.

Its one of my favorite comics out there on the market

I've been enjoying some parts of the Minimum Carnage crossover but I will be glad when the story is over so we can get back to Kaine's adventures. Part of what has made Yost's Scarlet Spider so great has been the balance of humor (ranging from light to dark) and violence, Kaine's supporting cast was much of the light humor and I look forward to their eventual return along with villains for Kaine to show off his normal violence with.

Minimum Carnage has sucked, but I am looking forward to the regular issues to start back up again.

Gah I just remembered that one issue that had like 4 epilogues!Yost is really planting the seeds for this series and I love that.
Anyway next Scarlet Spider crossover is with Gambit,I'm calling it right now, folks.
I am not an Avengers fan nor an X-Men fan.I am a Marvel fan for life.

Very well said. I have no problems with Minimum Carnage per se, but I'm not sure the story was timed correctly. While it may have had a positive influence on the sales of both Scarlet Spider and Venom titles, it certainly feels shoehorned into the current tales being told in SS. I can't see the Microverse being a mainstay in Kaine's life; I don't see Bug or Radu showing up again, for example. So while I'm enjoying the story, it feels unconnected and it's hard to believe that it will matter later on in Kaine's life.

-Pav, who is looking forward to getting back to all of Yost's dangling plotlines...

I honestly lost interest after the second issue of this series.....until I saw that Carlos was going to be in issue 13. I got pretty excited about that and the next thing I knew I had gotten hooked on the carnage crossover (which, as a kid raised on 90s Spidey, I SHOULD'VE been into right off the bat) and went back to get all the issues of Scarlet I missed. Though the first two issues were solid and even more fun than I had remembered on the second reading, apparently the book gets even better as it goes along. WHO KNEW?! Now, based just on Scarlet Spider's series and the crossover, I've been burning through older Spidey issues with Roxxon, the Venom minis from the 90s (overall pretty rough but a real trip!), some of Remender's Venom stuff and the DeMatteis "Lost Years" stories from the Clone Saga. I think Yost just 'gets' how to write good comics in a continuity-rich universe. I'm really glad I gave this book another chance.

Well I haven't read any of the Scarlet Spider series but Yost had me at "Carlos Lobo". I'm in. Was hoping Slott would bring him back for Spidey but aw well.

I'm agreeing with everyone who says they're ready for the post Minnimum Carnage stuff. I don't know if I'm just not as into the Mirconauts/Microverse as much as some others might be or my disdain of Carnage (not a particularly interesting Spidey villan to me) but there's nothing particularly compelling to me about this arc. Not a horrible read overall just not particuarly interesting BUT at least the sales picked up on the title. (& Venom as well)
