Oh Defalco, you are just not good at all.
Check out my New Blog! Just a random assortment of ideas, thoughts, and reviews!

Never mind DeFalco (although, I agree). Let's talk about how an artist that works at DC comics doesn't even know where to put the spikes on Nightwing's guantlets. I might just not read this issue, and buy it so I don't have a gap in the run. This book needs a good, consistent artist, bad!
I keep getting excited for Nightwing this week, and then I remember that it's part 2 of the Lady Shiva arc. Issue #13 was not great (too much exposition), and with what happened in Batman #14, I'm really eager/anxious to see where this story goes. Alas, we have to wait another month to get Higgins back.
Yep. Looks pretty butt. Can't wait til Higgins Barrows and Joker come back into play.
I never thought I'd see Andres Guinaldo on another DC comic after his stint on Gotham City Sirens.
But the thing is, in comparison, his stuff on GSC wasn't nearly as bad as this Nightwing work he's been putting in.
Seriously, how hasn't anyone said to this guy "Hey! The spikes go on the outside of the forearm line up with the pinky! Not on the top of his forearm, lined up with the back of the hand!". I blame DC just as much as I blame the artist. This should have been corrected months ago.
I know it's just a fill in, but why can't Justin Jordan take this book over?

The Best There Is At What I Do
Stay pressed
Not looking forward to Nightwing #14. Hopefully, with my low expectations for #14, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Can't wait for Higgin's return on #15 especially after Batman #14.

Pull List: (Marvel) Daredevil, Gambit, Hawkeye, Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, Uncanny X-Men/Avengers, Waid's Hulk, Young Avengers, Fearless Defenders (DC) Nightwing, Batman, Wonder Woman, Animal Man, JL
Even putting my annoyance at losing the Tim/Shiva dynamic (for this?) aside, this is just bad.
I didn't get much out of the preview. At the very end, Lady Shiva shows up. The preview did give you some suspense build up with the auditor and the banker chic. I buy the comics anyway so a bland preview doesn't matter much.
Current Favorites: The Goon, Batgirl, Chew, The Sixth Gun, Saga, Billy the Kids Old Time Oddities, Fatale, Batwoman, Vibe, Storm Dogs, Earth 2, Witchblade, Justice League of America, Slumptown
Honestly, the writing doesn't seem that bad to me. In fact, I think I like it a bit more than what Higgins has been doing on this book.
