Actually, I beleive it may be just a myth like the chupacabra, or Awesome Rita.

She's married. Which makes her a mythus.

There's a not even remotely amusing irony in having a raging alcoholic who regularly causes huge embarrassing scenes pissed at you and sending you nasty emails because you got drunk and sleepy at a Christmas party.

Friend of mine went through a similar thing a few years back. Got happy drunk and was confronted with another attendee's fearsome, medusa-like angry drunk girlfriend. She yelled at him for being drunk for about ten minutes and he just stood there and took it.
Finally, she stopped to take a breath. He paused for a second, pointed at her and yelled as loud as he could, "END OF LEVEL BOSS!" And then wandered away, chuckling to himself.
It was a beautiful thing to see.
