Ed, I say this as someone who loves you: Don't be a fucking moron. Coughing up blood is serious. Get that checked.

It stopped. I am 99% certain I'm all better. If it happens again, I will go on Sunday--which is technically as soon as possible.

    Just walk it off, Sis.

    You'll be fine.

It's probably bronchitis. If it stopped you're probably OK.

Here's what I found on Web MD

The most common reason for coughing up blood is acute bronchitis, which typically gets better on its own without treatment. People with bronchitis with small amounts of blood in the mucus for less than a week can watch carefully and wait for their condition to improve.

Coughing up blood can also be a sign of a serious medical condition. Call your doctor if you have any of these symptoms:

Blood in mucus that lasts longer than a week, is severe or getting worse, or comes and goes over time
    Chest pain
    Weight loss
    Soaking sweats at night
    Fever higher than 101 degrees
Shortness of breath with your usual activity level

People requiring treatment for coughing blood are nearly always treated in a hospital, until the cause is identified, and the threat of serious bleeding passes.

Yay! One person agrees with me! I can now disregard everyone else!

    ...

Ok. Fine. I will go tonight.

I should probably stop smoking, too.

Gah! You are not helping, Slam.

This doesn't count as being on your side, Cunard, because he would say the same fucking thing if both of your legs fell off.

It was just a wee bit of shiny, crayon-red blood. But I will go. I have been coerced.

I 100% would in that case because it would be that much more fun.

Call your doctor at a minimum, see what he says and if you should go to the emergency room. If you want to go somewhere, I would go to a clinic rather than emergency room.

I have coughed up blood due to bronchitis in the past. And I know you have been coughing a lot lately.

That doesn't seem likely with the commute. I'd check for security cameras instead.
