So after a long and very annoying Boxing Day (12 hour shift!) I get home to find a letter from revenue Canada asking for (and I kid you not) $666.67 from overpayment to me for 2011 taxes. I need to pay this by Jan 14th.

Good thing I got those gift cards from my parents and that this paycheck is going to be very substantial otherwise I'd be screwed. A perfect ending to 2012.

I have credit card and phone bill to pay first thing from that paycheck too. One last kick in the arse.

The pizza place I worked for for a month and a bit misreported my taxes for that time which put me in another bracket.

I can totally get a payment plan. I'm going to call them next week sometime. I'd like to do it one shot since they assessed me interest on it too. I space it out over a couple months. I just want 2011-12 behinds and this will do it. I have far too much in 2013 to look forward to, to have this throw a spanner in the works. I'm just happy I'm making enough money now than I can pay it off and not worry about it. I'm just cheeses it came right after Christmas and I had already earmarked this paycheck for bills and getting ahead of everything.

I had wanted a computer and a television and ps3 by The end of April. I'll have to get a clearance laptop instead of the All in One I was hoping for.
