Of course it is, it amazes me that this actually surprises anyone. Reality is boring and any show that realistically followed the ridiculously mundane subjects featured in some of these shows would be like watching paint dry.

I guess it depends. I've never seen the show, but I have a hard time believing most of its drama comes from the actual gator hunting, which I imagine is mostly just as boring as any other type of hunting.

Apparently lots of people I know enjoy "Duck Dynasty." Aside from the fact there is some sort of family of hillbillies in it, I have no idea what it is about. One thing a lot of these shows come up with is fake inter-personal or family drama that you are supposed to be interested in, interspersed with gator hunting or towing cars or whatever else they are trying to do.

I am addicted to Big Brother. I know the competitions are rigged, and I know they have head doctors who talk the players into doing stupid shit, but I love the misery of it all. Love it. I have some distant cousins who were on a reality show and as they claim the producers asked , "Is there any way we can have some family arguments ? We need some tension and drama ...maybe some fighting."
