Its a 50/50 split I think. Its DC's fault for approving shit like that and its the writers fault for even putting pen to paper to do it.

But to be fair, the cover made it pretty clear that it was a gory comic that parents should not buy for their kids, just because it shared a title with a cartoon show aimed at a younger audience.
