Then the Chiefs have remained basically unchanged since I stopped following football ten or so years ago.

To be fair here...KC in the early 2000's had quite a run from 2001-2005. They had the Greatest Show on Turf and had an offense that could score at any point on the field . In 2010 they won the AFC West and people felt they were moving in the right direction. Its just that KC needs a QB badly and the coaching is pretty piss poor bad. The team hasn't looked ready all season .

I seem to recall there was a thread about a Girls Gone Wild lawsuit that got really nasty and though Gail claimed it had nothing to do with her wanting to pack up and move her stuff, I seem to recall getting the vibe that it almost certainly did.

Basically a few years back a woman went to a bar where GGW was hosting a party, another woman pulled down her top on camera after she wouldn't agree to expose herself and it wound up on one of their videos. The woman filed a suit and wound up losing. The YABS side was all, "Grrr, how could she lose, she was the victim!" Some people tried pointing out that while the entire situation was unfortunate, the woman knew what she was getting into and GGW is very good at making sure its ass is covered from every angle, so she didn't really have a case. Naturally a shitstorm ensued, helped along by a poster whose name I can't recall, but who was one of the virulent shitstirrers I've ever witnessed here or anywhere on the internet.

I would love to read that thread. I'm sure I may have replied to it. Maybe...I don't remember all the threads I replied to over the years.

I never had an issue with Gail. I wasn't a big fan of some of her work. I did however say some stuff recently she did wasn't as good. Like the Batgirl new DC revamp and the Birds of Prey series we got before the new 52. I felt she was rushing some arcs and stories really.

From what I caught of the behind-the-scenes dealings, neither that one nor any other thread had anything to do with Gail leaving.
After all, she opened a new board elsewhere right away. How would that solve the problem of nasty threads?
