So the doc checked the MRT of my head and I got an all clear. No tumor, no MS or inflammation. So the hearing in my left ear has gone bad for no reason. Which beats going bad for a life-threatening reason.

My blog.
We struggled against apartheid in South Africa, supported by people the world over, because black people were being blamed and made to suffer for something we could do nothing about; our very skins. It is the same with sexual orientation. It is a given.

Good news Pip.
Morning people.
After working out this morning we are heading to the beach!
What have I always believed? That, on the whole, and by and large, if a person lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, at the end, more or less, turn out ok.
Good morning, nerds.
Hopefully, a very quiet day today.
In other news, I was looking for a picture of our cake and stumbled on this, yes this is from our wedding:

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone!
Good news, Pip! Glad it's nothing serious.
Happy (belated) birthday, Jeff!
Justice!
Thanks. I was home alone on a holiday with nothing to do so it seemed like a fun way to pass the time (rather than be productive on work or chores/projects around the house).
I DID make cupcakes. Yellow cake with chocolate frosting!
I agree. Drunkenness does not change the person, it just reveals who they are inside.
Having said that, I find it weird that I have melancholy temperamental tendencies yet I am a "happy drunk."
That's great fun.
Glad you're OK. You had your head examined and I had my heart examined this week. Almost like we're in group therapy or something.
I hate you. er, I mean have a great time!
We went to the beach on Lake Michigan several Thanksgivings ago. Probably not the same thing.
I wanted to judge you, but found myself smiling instead. That is cool.
It's kind of nice that catching up in RITAs takes a little time now-a-days.
This was linked on Facebook by howy and Tages, and probably worth a look here. The inspiration behind my cool avatar:

It's wanting to know that makes us matter. Otherwise we're going out the way we came in. That's why you can't believe in the afterlife. Believe in the after, by all means, but not the life. Believe in God, the soul, the spirit, the infinite, believe in angels if you like, but not in the great celestial get-together for an exchange of views. If the answers are in the back of the book I can wait, but what a drag. Better to struggle on knowing that failure is final. - Hannah, Arcadia
