Idea Pitched for Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock, Update on the Location for WrestleMania 30
    By Marc Middleton
    Dec 5, 2012 - 6:05:05 PM

    - It's looking more and more like that WrestleMania 30 will end up in New Orleans, as opposed to Cowboys Stadium near Dallas. Cowboys Stadium schedule for 2013 has been confirmed and they will indeed be hosting the NCAA tournament on April 4th and 5th of that year.

    - Someone in WWE creative this week suggested the idea of having Brock Lesnar run-in and cost The Rock the WWE Title at Royal Rumble, leading to Rock vs. Brock at WrestleMania 29. The chances of this happening are likely very slim since Rock has been pretty much promised the belt.

    Two WWE Stars Missing TLC,
    By Marc Middleton
    Dec 6, 2012 - 5:59:23 AM
    - It looks like WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres and Rey Mysterio will be missing the TLC pay-per-view. Eve is banged up while Rey has been given some time off to deal with personal matters.

I'd be okay with Rock vs Lesnar, but I don't know if the general WWE audience would care much about watching two part-time wrestlers from a previous era squaring off. I'd imagine "old school vs new school" is a better selling point.

Brock and Rock have been the biggest buys pop for the company. So I think it would be solid. I dont think you do this. Keep it simple.Punk/Cena/Rock main event, then have a triple threat of Lesner/Taker/HHH as the sub main event. Give Ryback his championship moment over an Unstoppable Big Show. Let Ziggs cash in the MITB on Cena.

Couple problems there. Ziggs MITB is only for the World Heavyweight Belt (unless that changed in the last week) and it sounds like Taker might be skipping this Wrestlemania.

Given the recent WWE game I'm surprise they haven't played the old vs new card at WM.

    Cena vs Rock
    Austin vs Punk
    Lesnar vs Ryback
    Mysterio vs Sin Cara
    Trish vs AJ
    Orton vs DDP

You just change the MITB restrictions. Its not like Vicki or Vince could not do that in a heartbeat. If Taker shows up great, if he doesnt put Brock in the main event. The storyline is that Brock is Punk insurance that Punk wont lose the title. We could have Punk not trust Lesner at all. Both Cena and Rock can both come in as faces, so no awkward face turns. Make the rest of the card about titles, and how important they are.

They could change the MITB restrictions, but why when it seems pretty obvious they have predetermined plans for the WWE Title that don't involve Ziggler? Plus, I highly doubt we'd see a Wrestlemania end with some out-of-nowhere title change that wasn't even on the card, I think WWE learned that lesson back at Wrestlemania 9.

I dont see how the title shift hurts the product. Punk,Cena,Lesner, and Rock dont need the belt. Ziggler needs a push that matters. Beating Big Show or Sheamus doesnt really do much for him, because he has to fued with those guys later.Cena beating the Rock,Punk, and Lesner on the same night, would be the highlight of Cena's career.Losing the belt on the same night to close the show would just break the net:)

They can change it, i don't see Cena winning and cashing in on big show for the number 2 belt.

    Predictions:

Layla vs. Kaitlyn vs. Alicia Fox vs. Natalya vs. Tamina Snuka vs. Aksana vs. Rosa Mendes vs. Cameron vs. Naomi "Santa's Little Helpers" battle royal for the #1 contendership to the WWE Divas Championship
Going with Natalya. She hasn't had a shot at the title in a while.

Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Wade Barrett
    Barrett wins the title.

    Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. R-Truth
    Cesaro retains.

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs. Team Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow)
    Rhodes Scholars

Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. John Cena
Thinking Ziggler may cash in before this match against Big Show and the match will be for World Heavyweight Championship and Ziggler retains.

Big Show (c) vs. Sheamus Chairs match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Big Show retains but Ziggler cashes in and wins.

Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) and Ryback vs. The Shield (Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns)
This is a tough one. If the Shield wins, it hurts Ryback's push since it would be his third non win at a PPV (if DB or Kane take the pin/sumbit). If the Shield loses, it kind of hurts their push just as they are starting out. Guess I'll go with Punk helping the Shield win and then Ryback cleaning house of The Shield and standing tall after the match. Though that is kind of a repeat of Ryback's last two PPV matches.

I can't predict the main event, but i get the feeling ryback wins since he never wins, and he has a title match with punk before rumble on tv that he has to lose.

The Rock Set to Wrestle at Elimination Chamber, WWE Officials Considering a Babyface Turn
    By Marc Middleton
    Dec 13, 2012 - 7:46:10 AM

    - There has been at least some talk of turning Alberto Del Rio babyface. WWE officials badly want a top Hispanic babyface. The feeling is that Rey Mysterio won't be around forever and is far from an office favorite while Sin Cara just isn't ready.

    - As noted, The Rock is being advertised for WWE's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February. Word going around WWE is that he will indeed be wrestling on that show, most likely in one of the Chamber matches. This would be The Rock's first-ever Chamber match.

Backstage News on What Will Close WWE TLC, Talk of The Rock Making a Special Appearance, More
    By Marc Middleton
    Dec 13, 2012 - 7:04:44 PM

    - At last word, the TLC match with Ryback, Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns is set to main event Sunday's WWE TLC pay-per-view.

    spoilers:
They could end the show with John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler, if Cena was winning the briefcase, but at last word, Ziggler was scheduled to retain.
    end of spoilers

There's a feeling internally that The Shield need to win their debut match and even though it would be three shows in a row that Ryback was on the losing end, at least this time he won't have to take the pin.

There was talk of trying to get The Rock to make a surprise appearance at TLC, to make good for having to remove the WWE Title match, but he likely will not be appearing.

Update on Ryback vs. CM Punk, Eve Torres to Defend at WWE TLC?, Rey Mysterio's Time Off
    By Marc Middleton
    Dec 13, 2012 - 7:09:20 PM

    - There's still no word yet on exactly why Rey Mysterio was given time off but the official reason is that he needed personal time. Several people close to the situation believed that Rey's knee locked up on him when he dove off the apron in the Daniel Bryan match on RAW several weeks back. Rey was told years ago to not even jump off curbs so jumping off the apron after knee surgery 15 years later can't be good. Rey was said to be "in great pain" later in the week after that spot.

    - The winner of the Divas battle royal on the WWE TLC pre-show may get her title shot against Eve Torres later on that night during the pay-per-view.

    - While Ryback vs. CM Punk for the WWE Title is penciled in for the January 7th RAW, one source says the match may not happen for a long time and the plans for January 7th are very subject to change.

Roman Reigns Comments on TLC, Jim Ross Comments on Bray Wyatt, WWE's Return to Atlanta
    By Marc Middleton
    Dec 14, 2012 - 6:51:17 AM

    - The Shield member Roman Reigns hyped WWE TLC on his Twitter with the following tweet:

"Most weather the storm..WE prefer to fight in the rain. #ShieldWayOfLife #TLC"

    - WWE will return to Atlanta, Georgia on February 4th, 2013 for a WWE RAW event. The pre-sale begins this morning and the password is ATLANTA.

    - Jim Ross was asked on Twitter about WWE NXT star Bray Wyatt (the former Husky Harris), who has been teasing a RAW return. Ross replied:

"Rehabbing an injury. Big upside. I'm counting on him."

I think it has more to do with they don't make back up plans anymore.
