Does crossbones have any of that? I remember Bucky just being able to stab him with a regular combat knife, not even using the arm.

I get what you're saying, and I think it supports my point. Clearly, new Ollie can tank hits due to his tech that a normal human shouldn't be able to take. In that scene from the iron man film, where he gets hit with a tank shell, in terms of physics, there is no way a human survives that. Direct contact with an explosive shell moving at near sonic speeds would liquify your internal organs from impact alone, much less the explosive force generated. But iron man walks away due to handwavey tech explanation. I think DCnU Ollie gets the same treatment -- he's got billions in tech and is blowing it on tanking hits from super-strong villains.

Please, do NOT compare Ollie's tech with Stark's. You invalidate your entire argument doing that. It's better to just say "ya know, comics..." than to try to pseudo-science this or to make absolutely ridiculous comparisons.

Another point, again relating to CBPH type people - they are often shown getting blasted through rebar building columns, cars, busses, trees, massive wooden beams, etc. without taking any serious injury. This isn't something unique to Ollie.

And Crossbones has taken repeated hits from people with stone-breaking striking force without slowing down at all. His soak is pretty damn good for a "normal."

Why? They both do explicitly physics and biology defying things. It doesn't matter if Stark's tech is "better", there is no reason given in-movie why he can survive that kind of hit. Even the new comics tend not to mention the whole "suit is held together by an energy/force field" thing, so you kind of have to handwave extremis to explain his tanking ability.

As for Crossbones, i remember Bucky KOing him with normal punches and with the arm. Cap has KOed him just using his normal strength. I'm not saying its never happened, but I've never seen Crossbones take meta hits and still keep going. Are there any feats he's got?

Just for the record, Nu52 Queen is wearing body armor of some unspecified degree, it's called out in the comics. He's pretty borged out with technology. Not, certainly, to the scale of Iron Man or anything like it, even fractionally, but it's there.

It lets him rescue a dude from a fire and crap, as I recall (not like, he stands in the midst of fire and laughs at it or anything, but it facilitates him getting in and out to save the dude in question, as I remember it. Correct me otherwise internet!).

Yeah, he runs into a blaze to save Rush, though he is warned that his suit cant take that heat for very long. He also stands pretty close to some explosions while not being hurt.
