He should definitely try and get a bit. TeenJean would be trading up, Teenscott is naming the kids already.

I think im more curious to see what Jean thinks of Revolutionary Cyke. Will she succumb to peer pressure and just jump on the Scott is bad wagon, or will she think for herself and see that he's actually just the last real X-Man left.

Clear and present bias notwithstanding, I kind of agree with the sentiment. I'm hoping Jean and adult Scott get a chance to discuss his worldview now, and how and why it's diverged from who he used to be. Scott's never really given his side of the story in-universe, has he?

I agree completely. Most of All New X-men #1 has the Jean Grey Institute jsut badmouthing Cyclops endlessly at how he's being so bad. But what's he really doing other than trying to protect mutants that the authorities are harassing? He's not demanding that humans submit to mutant authority. He's not threatening to wipe out humanity or leading armies to war. He is very much a product of everything that has happened to him recently going all the way back to House of M. And if Jean Grey really is serious about reaching out to him, she would try to understand where he's coming from.

However, I don't think Marvel is going to go that route. I think they're going to play up Jean Grey's overly emotional reaction. She'll be more "How could you?!" and not really take much time to understand the circumstances. That's not a knock on Jean. That's what teenagers often do and Bendis said he would be playing up the teenage aspect of the O5. I think that'll only serve to demonize Cyclops even further and for bad reasons, but that's all Marvel has been doing lately so I don't see them changing.

I completely agree with this. It would be interesting to see Jean try to look at both sides of the story, but I think MarvelMaster616's opinion has a higher chance of what is going to happen.

I can see Teen Scott flipping out and being completely against it.

Teen Jean, I think she'll be an emotional wreck instead of really taking sides. Her whole world is about to come crashing down.

Glad to see this mental instability is couched in the deep cushions of set continuity.

I imagine Cyclops will start shopping at Hot Topic, eating tofu and inviting teenJean to Starbucks like all the other cool kids before they go off and play 'Space Invaders'.

But why when he can have the real thing?? I'm sure Emma wouldn't mind ex-sex. Unless he wants a younger model in which case he can have a Stepford Cuckoo. Or unless he wants an Innocent-Lamb Emma but that would a) defeat the purpose of having an Emma and b) wouldn't corrupting an Innocent-Lamb Jean be more fun?

I'm actually more curious to see what Revolutionary Scott will tell Teen Scott. Will he tell Teen Scott to fight to keep her? Or tell him to give her up because he cheats on her and ends up with Emma anyway? I think the latter is very Scott as he has a martyr complex.
