I knew it was a novel and movie, at what point was it a graphic novel?

Now. Nothing like trying to cash in on the biggest phenomenon of 2009.

Anyway, the book wasn't that good. The American movie wasn't that good. I would imagine the graphic novel isn't that good, either.

Despite my love of Leonardo Manco's art, I couldn't get into this series in any medium, so I won't be picking it up.

On the other hand, Leo Manco. And to paraphrase SNL, "Must have-a the Manco!"

The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!

Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!

In other words, what StoneGold said.

Your choice. I thought the mystery in the middle third of the novel was interesting, but the stories that bookend it were extraneous.
