Default It's been a long time...

I have been away from comics since the darkest night series ran and am looking to jump back into a pull list. Can anyone point me in the right direction of some good current story lines? Thanks for any help.

As you may or may not know, the entire DC Universe relaunched a little over a year ago. As such, most series are pretty easy to jump onto, as none of them have more than one trade out.

As far as what's good and what trades you should consider grabbing, I'd go out of my way to recommend Scott Snyder's Batman and Brian Azzarello's Wonder Woman. Scott Snyder's Swamp Thing and Jeff Lemire's Animal Man are also very good, but really should be read together. Geoff Johns' Green Lantern is stronger than it's been in some time. If you're looking for a more "classic superhero" type book, Francis Manapul's Flash and Geoff Johns' Aquaman are quite good.

Witrhout knowing your general likes / dislikes, no.

The New 52 DC is what we've had since September of last year. If you're an old-school reader, you may not like it.
It also depends on if you prefer straight superheroics or if you're open to the darker / mystical side of things.
And if you're looking for a "fun" book, they're in short supply when it comes to the New 52.
