Will Batman finally kill joker at the end of DEATH OF THE FAMILY?

If that happened, it would be the last comic I ever read by whoever wrote it.

I hate Joker never paying for his crimes, but I kind of roll with it because I understand the real world reasons DC can never do away with the character. I just dislike the character now and more-or-less wait for whatever story he's in to finish. Fine. But I am sick to death of stories where Batman goes way out of his way to save the Joker from death or execution or whatever. That reads false to the point of being insulting. I won't tolerate another such story.

Hear hear. Watching Dark Knight again reminded me how much I like Joker, after getting sick to death of what the character has become in the comics.

Now, maybe he will die at the end of the run who knows ? Well, for a couple of issues at least.

How funny that Joker was the only major villian in that movie trilogy that Batman didn't let die... Well, there's Scarecrow...but he's never the big bad in the movies..

I don't believe anyone in the Bat Family will kill the Joker. At most he will merely appear to have died and there will probably not be a body found, which will leave his "death" ambiguous. I wish DC would be a little more ballsy here and actually kill him though.

Batman could kill him he'd still live though that's just how strong his plot armor is. In fact Batman did kill him before in Hush or No man's land right?
Morrison had that really ill thought out moment where he got shot in the head and dumped in the trash and still came back.

So the question should be why do fans complain about the irrelavent things about Batman? Either his world is too realistic or its too unrealistic
You aren't allowed to complain about both and then prop both of them up.

It will probably be similar to the end of Death in the Family where it's left unresolved or Batman will end up feeling sad after the beatings his friends have taken and the Joker will mock him while being taken to Arkham.
