Default REVIEW: Punk Rock Jesus, #5

Chris challenges a follower's faith, and Thomas and Slate muse about their god-given talents in "Punk Rock Jesus" #5, continuing Sean Murphy's unconventional epic tale in a way that engages both the reader's heart and mind.

Not only is this an awesome issue, but this is an awesome series. The best in the market right now. While I'll be very sad to see this series end, I look forward to the next one Sean Murphy writes.

Yup, just a wonderful series and this issue was no exception. Spectacular art mixed with complex characters and a story that is both thought provoking and very moving. What more do you need? Oh yeah, it's 32 story pages for $3, that's what!

I can't believe that more people aren't picking it up. This book should do well in trade.

+1 This is the best book of the year for me. Sean Murphy is one hell of a writer and his art is superb.

I still want to know if Rebekah is the baby that was dumped way back in the first issue. I feel like she is and will hopefully play an important role in the last issue.

Yeah, I think that's going to play a big part... probably that was the actual Jesus clone, and will be reborn.

Holy balls! I would love it if the clone of Jesus was actually the girl.
