I know right? I was worried about the art, but i am okay with this. Coloring helps.

    Elektra's tits of death

Other than that ridiculousness, Thunderbolts does indeed look great. I think I just might be surprised by the art.

Holy crap Colossus just crushed Cable's arm and ripped it out of it's socket.

I was coming to post the same thing, the Thunderbolts art looks great! I was worried how Dillon would draw Elektra but she looks good here!

I have no doubt that "Avengers Arena" and "Thunderbolts" will do the same -- they are gooooood books.
I sure hope this is true, and it does make me feel even better about Thunderbolts. I really hope Elektra's first foray into a team will be a good one, so she'll be used more in the greater MU eventually.

How I wish Stuart Immonen were doing the art for New Avengers instead of a title I'll never read. He is so amazingly, consistently good.

How dare you suggest that. I like that he is on a title I'll read.

Stuart is def awesome and the art in ANXM was ace.

I want to be excited about Uncanny Avengers, but after recent delays I'm somewhat hesitant. John Cassaday is a great artist, but he's like Art Adams in that he often takes his time and gets delayed as a result. It's usually worth waiting for, but the waiting is still frustrating. I like that the cast is expanding. The series has so much promise, but that promise is going to be muddled by delays if they continue.

The previews for All New X-men still look awesome though. Cyclops looks incredibly badass in confronting an armored convoy. I'm thinking that this may be the scene that reveals how they rescued Emma Frost. She appeared rather suddenly in the first issue. And given her history, she would definitely warrant an armored convoy. If this is the case, I look forward to seeing how it plays out. Uncanny Avengers may have a more diverse cast, but All New X-men has Cyclops, Magneto, the Original Five, and Emma Frost. That's a win by default.

rumors of event fatigue are greatly overrated.
Marvel is so out of touch with it's readership that it's almost tragically comical now... :(

Did AvX perform really badly or something? Until a real indicator of event fatigue, namely a huge slump in sales, rears its head I think that they'll be right in saying they've seen no real indication of event fatigue.

meh, the delay is fine with me.

I'll just reread issue 1 right before i read issue 2. More bang for my buck.
