Finally!!! This better be worth the wait.
Good. Let there be a decent role for Moon Knight in this and I'm golden.
Wake me up when it's over...
Ok guys, tell me, what is this age of ultron? I missed out on this, whats it about?
'If you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, its not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them'
During the first arc of the post-Siege Avengers title (writen by Bendis and Romita Jr) it was revealed that in one point of the future time, there;s going to be a major conflict between the Avengers and maniacal sentient robot Ultron. They going to loose the war resulting in Ultron becoming powerful and conquering the entire Earth and trushing it completely. This event, nicknamed at the time as Ultron War, is rumoured to initiate a chain of events that it will end in a major revamp for Marvel, similar to DC's Crisis Of Infinite Earths. This storyline saw a prelude in a point one issue of the Avengers and we saw a glimpse of it in MARVEL POINT ONE, both stories were writen by Bendis and Hitch. It was originally scheduled to be a 2012 stoyline but apparently it was pushed back in favour of AVX.

I'm stoked. Ultron is the most terrifying villain in comics, in my opinion (that jack o'lantern-style head is brilliant) so I hope that this is a storyline worthy of him. It'll be interesting to see how this fits with current continuity but I'm just glad to see it finally get released.

Going forward, everytime Marvel announces an Event, it will be accompanied by fanboys speculating its the Jump Point for a company wide reboot ala DCs 52.

I believe all that needs to be said has been. So here’s my two cents.”-- ScottMC, inadvertently summing up the Internet.
