I'd say this issue is still focusing on the Thunderbolts rather than than the Dark Avengers, by the looks of it.

We won't start getting into the new story until the next issue, most likely.

No, the following issue (#184) will be the jumping on point. This issue (#183) is the aftermath of the 12+ issue Timebolts arc; and the wrap-up of the recent Catalyst storyline. BUt... I could be wrong. I will let you know, the moment I read it.

Love the reference to the BBC; and I like that Jeff Parker's poking fun at the glory-hogging Avenger d*chebags (because yeah... "they" saved the day). June is still awesome; and I'm pleased one F.A.C.T. member survived.

I couldn't find a non-labelled #183 cover... sorry. But I DO love this completed image. It would make an AMAZING poster, along with the image of nearly all the Thunderbolts in Songbird's head, during her 163.1 issue.

Definitely one of the best incarnations of the team ever. I really hope Ghost, Troll, Boomerang, and everyone else don't just get forgotten in all the Marvel NOW! newness...

Also, I kind of want them to bring in the other surviving members of the Osborne mini series onto the team. Pryor Cashman as a Dark Doctor Strange and Carny Rives as a Dark Vision maybe...

Definitely one of the best incarnations of the team ever. I really hope Ghost, Troll, Boomerang, and everyone else don't just get forgotten in all the Marvel NOW! newness...

My main thing is I don't want all this great character work undone by a lazy writer, who has Boomerang just return to being an assassin, without any reference to his time as a Thunderbolt.

It's been the only incarnation of the Thunderbolts where I genuinely adore ALL the characters. My least favourite Timebolt was probably Mr. Hyde, and even then... I think he's wonderful!
