I agree on getting rid of Batgirl. They should add Helena/Huntress to this book if she never ends up going back to Earth 2.

There are four stages of matter. Solid. Liquid. Gas & Don't. It's science.
I am a male. Deal with it.
Any trips that are BOP missions most probably is funded by either Dinah or Ev, from money squirreled away from their spy days. But you bring up the point again that Batgirl's character doesn't come across as the same person between how either of the writers are depicting them in both BOP and Bagirl.
I always get amused by the crowd though that always seems to have a preference for any bat-depiction or title that leads to LOWER sales, as those posters say they love the BOP depiction of Batgirl but hate her in the much higher selling solo title.
Pull list:
Adv. Time, Batgirl, B & R, BOP, E 2, Fearless Defenders, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, JL: Dark, Katana, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest
What's amusing about it? People are entitled to like what they like and how successful a title is doesn't really make sense as a reason for how much you like it. I've had to see people pass up quality books like Demon Knights and I, Vampire for that reason ("it's good, but eh, it'll probably get cancelled soon, I won't bother"). I've pointed out numerous times the New 52 is more successful commercially to many people who've argued otherwise, but I'm not arguing about whether that means they're not allowed to dislike it because it's selling better.
I liked the way Batgirl was portrayed in BOP #0, but at the moment am still buying Batgirl as it seems to have improved since #12. I know some opponents would be tougher than others, but it seems more like her competence and confidence fluctuating wildly than any greater or lesser ability in those opponents. I will give it a few more issues before i give up on it.
I too agree about getting rid of Babs (and Condor too). I think adding Cass Cain or Steph Brown (as Black Bat or Spoiler, respectively) would be a great move for DC. It'd satisfy all their respective fan boys, and add an interesting and entertaining dynamic to the group (either of the girls). Dinah, Sterling, and Cass/Steph (or both...but probably more Steph) would be a great group to read, imo.
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.
Grant Morrison
That's not really a connection between them, that's more of a connection between the Birds and the Suicide Squad if anything. I assumed it would say something in this issue like to solicit implied. Oh well. I was kind of hoping Dinah and Tim would be related somehow (Drake).
It's seen sometimes with various hobby or interest related topics in so far as I've viewed the net. Things like "John Cena should be fired" or "Ford should offer manual transmissions across their line."
Gail Simone kind of covered it with her tumblr comments about different classes of readers imo.
Sales are in line with the previous Birds Of Prey run, it sold around 25,000 copies in October. The Trade Paperback of V1 made #2 on the NY times best seller list so it aint selling that bad at all. Birds of Prey is doing ok for itself economically, now if Duane can steady the plot and pick up all the pieces and give it some stability and strucutre that would be much appreciated.
I love the new art work, hope the artist sticks around.

I don't care who else is on the team, but Black Canary and Batgirl HAVE to be there. Dinah and Barbara are the original Birds!
"If God is the answer, the wrong question has been asked."
This issue was more cohesive than most, though it still threw a lot of unexplained stuff in there.
I think it would be good to pare the group back to Black Canary and Starling, with Batgirl providing an assist about every fourth or fifth issue. That would force a change in Starling's secret whatever-she's-up-to.
Pull list:
Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Worlds' Finest, My Little Pony, Sword of Sorcery, The Flash, Animal Man, Birds of Prey, Lone Ranger
Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. Coulda done without Dinah getting sucker-powered again.
If there was an indifferent smiley, this is where I'd have put it.
"The Tardis, when working properly, is capable of many amazing things. Not unlike myself."
Just read it. It was better than the last one. If they wrap up all the loose ends I might forgive the bad editorial and give the new writer a chance.
