Maria Hill and Daisy Johnson should never, ever appear in a scene together ever again... until one of them gets a new hair-do or wardrobe. It is way too difficult to tell who is saying what.
Seriously, the only saving grace is that Hill seems to be taller...I think.
Other than that, it looks like this might be how Simon gets enough cred back so Steve can take a flyer on adding him to the Uncanny Avengers.
Hey, that tiger is flying a spaceship.
Man, I really hate Bendis' scripts.
Bunch of unnessecary, smarmy, "cute" dialogue: check.
Giant full page splash establishing shot of a building" well, it's a park but it's just as uninteresting as a building so I'm gonna go ahead and check this one too.
Characters sounding the same: check, not only do they sound the same, they look the same too. They all sound so similar I think Black Widow mistakenly got a speech bubble she wasn't supposed to.
At least it's almost over and Wonder Man and Wasp are coming back.
"Pro tip"?
What SHIELD Director/Agent is going to say that?
Schmitty's Evil Twin.
So the New and Secret Avengers are guest-starring in this one, and the Avengers are guest-starring in the New Avengers' last couple of issues...
Looks great. Sad to see this era go, but looking forward to Hickman's tenure. Really enjoyed Bendis' work from start to bottom, but nothing good lasts forever, right?
Does Bendis really not know real (as opposed to Ultimate/Movie) Hawkeye isn't a SHIELD agent and doesn't really have covert ops skills (regardless of Secret Avengers)? I suppose I'm not really surprised.
Not to mention that I find it somewhat amusing that in his final story Bendis is finally doing something with two of the most storied Avengers in Jan and Simon. Better late than never, I guess.
That's right! Al Gore invented the internet, let's all go kick his ass!
I got your inconvenient truth right here, motherf*&¨%!
Donald M.
Can we give SHIELD a rest until the next movie? I'm kind of tired of having them in the middle of every Avengers story.
That's the drawback to bad colorists. Maria Hill is white and Daisy Johnson is black.
It was nice to see Marvel finally remember that Quake and not Maria Hill is Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and outranks the idiot who thought she should attack Captain America over a law that wasn't even passed yet.
Well enough has been said about the terrible dialogue ("...you don't have to make everything a thing." WTF? Are they, "like, twelve, like?") and the "similarities" between Hill and Johnson.
Just happy it's over. Now I can go back to reading Avengers (though I probably will still wait for the TPB).
Peace
