You may not respect Kitty's job (since disrespectful asses have made it so that teaching is no longer considered a respectable career), but at least she didn't sleep with her boss to get it. And if she had, then she sure as hell wouldn't be surprised that he mistreated her.
i declare shenanigans. while both have been neutered Kitty has been greasing by using the X-Men as a foothold to put off whatever personal ambitions she hasn't accomplished on her own since she's been of age. At least Emma knows how to commit to something. whether it be her man, her cause, her bad decisions. How long before Kitty gets the wild hair to "go back to school" and waste her time in her decade long poli-sci undergrad degree before she conveniently finds a way to run back to the x-men "where she'll make a real difference".
Even with Colossus. They were never really together. It was stated that they were always best friends, and sometime best friends with benefits. They haven't been "together" since they were kids, so how can she call it "walking away" from her man when he was never hers to begin with? All she did was walk away from a friend when SHOCKER things got too hairy for her to deal with. Keep your eye on that HeadMaster's seat Bobby, you're going to need to fill it when Pryde "goes through another phase" in her life.

Emma and Scott have a passionate relationship.
Something Katya will never know.
Emma knows how to be completely absorbed in a man so she's more emotionally developed than Kitty ? Get a grip on yourselves, rent boys.
They're both at their most embarassing days of their lives.
Kitty doesn't get points for leaving her man first. Kitty loses points for ever dating Colossus in the first place. And then she moves on to Iceman, who's gay--a fact Emma's known since sometime the mid 90's:
