I dropped Action. It was all over the place and became convoluted very quickly. Not a good foundation for the New52 Superman at all.
I don't think it sucks, but I definitely think Lobdell's Supreman is soooo much better. Superman is in good hands now.
I seriously miss Captain Mar-Vell.
Again, Can anyone from the UK confirm a claim one of the reviewers in this video made in the comment section that Grant Morrison's run is unpopular with comic book clerks in the UK comic book related shops?
"And on my soul, I swear... until my dream of a world where dignity, honor and justice becomes the reality we all share - I'll never stop fighting. Ever." - Superman
I,m in UK and I,ve got every copy so far.
yes,its been tough going at times but I really like it.
Hopefully, over the next few months we,ll get something a bit more linear than what we,ve got so far.
but I,ll stick with it and look for the new Man of Steel title coming in the summer 2013.
See if thats a better book after 7 issues.
I MIGHT drop Action then,if its not improved by then.
RALPH.
This is what I have been saying since I heard Morrison was going to take over.
As foundations go, there is a lot to be desired.
Was it as big a train wreck as I thought it would be? No. Some of it was actually inspired. But it really is a mess in my view.
I am really just glad his run is over. Not that I am all that excited about what's coming...but I am along for the ride.
If the shoe fits: "a crankly old man standing just on the edge of a crowd gathered for a concert and stamping his feet yelling at the crowd to stop having fun, that they don't know what fun is."

This guy obviously hasn't read much New 52. It's not even the worst Superman starring book. It's actually pretty great.
