It sounds kind of neat, but I read a sample of it and I didn't get the feeling it was written very well.

From what I understand, its a scientist having a go at writing a novel. While there's a lot of ideas there, and the first act of the book is extremely plausible, there's apparently not much to like about the human characters, and you find yourself rooting for the 'evil' AI who isn't evil at all, but is in fact saving the planet from the excesses of man - something referred to all the way up to the chest-pounding stone-age man ending.

Also, they drew comparisons with Battlefield Earth. Which is never good.

Though considering the Reservation setting, I expect to see "Dances With Terminators" thrown about.
