Yeah exactly. He'd come with me if I asked him to, to make me happy, but he'd hate it and pretend he wasn't just to keep me happy. I'd rather write it off and do something we both enjoy. I don't get to see him that often and when I do I'm working most of the time so it would just feel unfair to say 'oh btw we're going to a different city to do something I want that you have no interest in'

My bf is the same way. He tries to make fun of me because I still read comics, but he reads nerdy sci-fi fantasy books and used to play Magic: the gathering, so it's not like he's so much better than me lol.

I found out that the magician has almost the entire collection of Fighting Fantasy books. He's a total nerd (well of course, he's a god damn magician) but I thought he was too young to have seen those. I am totally planning to steal though, and bring back a wave of childhood nostalgia as I remember stealing them from my brother ...
