Couldn't agree more with you. Dillon wasn't the problem with Aarons run, Aaron was the problem. Aaron's MK style slapstick writing, which doesn't even touch Garths MK run, was a huge flaw as far as I am concerned. I cringed at the overeager attempts to make Bullseye into a "crazy, dangerous" character in the second arc. The "Home" arc was the exception to this. Aaron's third arc with Frank reflecting from a prison cell on his life after the war and before the murder of his family was brilliant. I really do recommend it to you Libaax. It puts a nice twist on his origins, which doesn't contradict Ennis' run but adds a different spin on it. Dillons art was great and Aarons writing was great on that arc. I would like to say this continued into the last arc but it didn't. There were some great elements and moments sprinkled here and there throughout his run such as his characterisation of the Kingpin and little flashbacks but they were fleeting. Not to say that you couldn't enjoy it, but below par for MAX, very flawed and very disappointing as a whole. Not to mention the cheesy "happy ending" epilogue for issue 22 with the "Sons of Punisher".
