Hercules and Northstar?

So, since I was able to get the full run in TPB for about $45 on Amazon I bought Pak's Hercules finally. Wow. Truly blown away by how much I love this book and its a crime that it isn't still going.

I'm not all the way through, so please try not to spoil me and if my questions lead to spoilers just let me know; however I just finished issue 2 of the fall of Herc where the heroes and gods are mourning his loss and Amedeus finds out Herc isn't in Hades so he takes he lead of the Olympus group to find him.

In the Fall of Herc #1, Black Widowm Nomora, Snow Bird and Alphysweghcv the elf Queen are all talking about how they hooked up with Herc and Snow Bird says that there ar others that could join their ranks. The next panel is of a character, I think Northstar due to the black/white costume, who we haven't seen any where else in the issue and makes a crack about the time and bails.

Was that Northstar? And if so, was there an issue in which that happened? What story is being referenced?

Yes it was. However it was off-panel but Herc of myths was bisexual so no reason why this one wouldn't be.

Sportsguy is right. Supposedly the "relationship" occured off-panel and we don't know when. Pak and Van Lente really did a good job of infusing the series with actual "historical" moments from Hercules ancient tales.

Oh totally, it very much isn't out of character. I just didn't know if I missed an appearance of him in an Alpha Flight series.

Series, Incred Herc is amazing.
