I thought Tomasi's GL corp pre-DCnu was a little above average. I dropped the title (after the relaunch) at #6 because I felt he lost something. That said, his Batman and Robin has been superb. Love the interaction with Bruce and Damian more under Tomasi's writing than under that of Morrison (and Morrison, obviously, is no slouch).

The ending was incredibly touching. As a father-to-be myself, I found this last part amazing.

I just finally got around to reading this issue.
I loved the ending but was lost as to the significance of the pearl. How was it Bruce's brother's pearl? How did Damian get it? And why did his having it mean so much to Bruce?Chill!
