    Right on. I wouldn't mind a few more non-powered mystery men being added into the equation. Hopefully we will see this expanded on at some point.

    They aren't the "JSA" yet (unless that just happened this month), and somehow I question whether they'll still take on that full name.

    If not Justice Society of America, just Justice Society. One of the two though, I don't see any reason to think they wouldn't take on the name.

    Stormwatch would have been around at that period, no?
    'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
    'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

    Every month.
    It doesn't matter what the writer, artist, or editor had in mind when they created it, or what they said in an interview;
    all that matters is what is on the page.

    I believe so, but I doubt they would have interfered in a war between nations driven and governed by men.

    Is it a limited release series or something? I've never seen it.

    No... it was a Second Wave release. Earth 2 has been chugging along for several months at this point.

    My fault. I thought we were talking about the JSA.

    We are and we aren't.

    It's Earth 2, a New 52 reimagining of the world once inhabited by the JSA. It's also a reimagining of some of those classic characters, like Jay, Alan, Ray, and Terry (among others).

    Yeah, I've read earth 2.

    Someone shoot me a text or something when DC does a JSA series.

    I understand they have the same names and similar abilities but has it been stated that they are the new JSA? I read Earth 2 and haven't heard any mention of them being called the JSA..... I don't see why you can't have another Earth with the same charcters but it takes place on a world that is in the WWII era with the old JSA leading that Earth. I mean their are 52 Earths why not have one that just has a Golden Age vibe to it.

    Because DC doesn't seem to like "old" things.

    It is the JSA series. They just haven't formed the group yet.
