    Default PREVIEW: Avengers Assemble #10

Did you know that there's a theory that the bacteria in our bodies actually controls our moods and may even be responsible for elements of our personalities? TONY STARK and BRUCE BANNER did. What happens when a 20 million-year-old evolutionary catalyst infects a HULK? Could it be a cure?

Meanwhile, on the outside, CAPTAINS MARVEL AND AMERICA must find the missing scientist before he unleashes said bacteria on the world.

Pretty great art, but have to say the inventory covers are a little bit disappointing.
And, please, tell me the Avengers aren't going to face ninjas again?

It's really hard to feel that Caselli isn't being squandered on this book. I can easily think of three higher profile books I'd rather see him on.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

I might pick this title up one day... but its on the back burner for getting cut due to price. This really is a book for newbies more than anything. With Avengers being bi monthly I don't feel obliged to pick up too many 3.99 books unless the story is EXCEPTIONAL.

This book might be serviceable as a stop and go Avengers tale though. There was something about the Black Widow coming up right? If that gets good reviews I'll pick it up.
Steve Rogers: You ready to follow Captain America into the jaws of death?
James Barnes: Hell, no! The little guy from Brooklyn who was too dumb not to run away from a fight. I'm following him."

I could see this being my fallback book if Hickman core Avengers book disappoints.

This book looks fairly fun and Hickman does tend to drag.

I'm definitely in. The issue leading into this today turned out to be really, really fun.

Spider-Woman's "check out my muscles" pose couldn't be more stupid. DeConnick doesn't get it.

i don't think that she did the cover art. but that would make her unusually talented.

The cover art is Greg Land's fault. I'd say it's pretty typical of what he does...

Correction: the cover art should be blamed on Greg Land's computer.

Not sure where you got that. It's always been an ongoing.

I had the same thought. The art is great, but the dialogue, chit chat crazy writing is a bit much.
