    Default PREVIEW: X-O Manowar #7

Valiant is proud to present an advance preview of X-O Manowar #7 by New York Times best-selling author Robert Venditti and fan favorite artist Lee Garbett! Ninjak's chart-topping debut in the all-new Valiant Universe continues right here, as the conflict between X-O Manowar and MI-6's most lethal intelligence operative escalates into open warfare!
Agents of the alien race known as The Vine have been living in secret among us for centuries and now they've just been activated for one final mission - purge the Earth of all human life! An invasion fleet is on its way and the only weapon in existence powerful enough to defeat it is the X-O Manowar armor. To pinpoint The Vine's weaknesses, Aric will need to enlist the help of the master weapons specialist charged with taking him down - the feared and formidable Ninjak. But, first, Aric will have to convince him that his masters in British Intelligence have sold humanity into the hands of the enemy...
The Valiant Universe's two most formidable heroes are all that stand between Earth and annihilation on November 21st, only in X-O Manowar #7! With Planet Death on the rise, now is the time to jump on board the series that Complex calls "wall-to-wall action on a blockbuster scale"!

I'm still 50/50 about whether I'll pick it up monthly or trade-wait. Looks awesome though.

it's near the top of my pull pile every time it comes out. i'd suggest picking it up monthly if only to support the company. who knows how long Valiant will stick around for...

I think so long as they keep putting out great monthly books as they have been, this Valiant will be around for a long time. You raise a good point though. Valiant makes their money from monthly books. Obviously they put out their product in trades so that people can have the option of buying them that way, but I don't doubt that at this stage in their operations, trade-waiting cuts into their monthly revenue since they have very few trades in circulation. This is why I've committed to buying at least each of the first arcs of new Valiant stories in singles.
X-O Manowar. Harbinger. Bloodshot. Archer & Armstrong. Swamp Thing. Dial H. Captain Marvel. Hit-Girl. Saga. Prophet. Read my reviews of these and more at The Comic Book Couple!
