How do I create a signature? I cannot figure out how to do it. Do I have to post a number of times before this can be done? I sorry for asking about something some may find so trivial.

Yeah, you've got to meet a minimum post threshold first. It's somewhere in the double digits. Once you do, you can create/change your sig on the User CP.

You need at least five posts to be able to use the signature feature.
