Joker's face looks a little too "attached", otherwise still great art. Will never get enough Harley.

Ah, the tired ol' "suicide is the easy way out" cliche.

Yeah, ain't nothing easy about shooting yourself in the chest (I can only assume). I can't tell if I should be annoyed with the writer or annoyed with Waller (which may be the writer's intention).

So I guess joker is out to kill Harley, hence the knife and henchmen. Sucks cause I really wanted Harley and Joker to go back to becoming partners again. Unfortunately this will end with Quinn stating she doesn't need Joker and she's moved on. Harley isn't the same without being Joker's squeeze though.

The other way to look at it is that Harley's never any different when she actually is his squeeze either.

I was actually surprised that he died. For some reason, I thought deadshot would have been good enough to shoot through himself, miss all his vitals, and kill regulus.

#14 was a great issue, though I was disappointed that all the "you don't need to read the other books to get the story" lines were bull. THere's a time jump right in the middle of the book, with a little caption (hey, want to know what you missed, go read batman #13)

Who Deadshot? Closed casket for a chest wound? Come on now.

As for the issue itself. It left me feeling pretty uncomfortable actually. A little too realistic with the domestic abuse being about establishing control and dominance over someone who appeared confident.

I want to be more excited about this, but NuHarley doesn't do anything for me. Even ignoring the updated origin I also don't like the new look. It just doesn't seem Harley to me. Harley really hasn't been involved in any major Bat-Stories, of the comic world, aside from Hush and minor bits in No Man's Land. This is perfect for her, but it is now a Harley I'm not interested in.
What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.

I think that was more Waller being irritating. Maybe even meant as her way of expressing irritance at losing Deadshot (for however long that lasts).

For those who have already read the issue: How much does the rest of the Squad appear in this issue after the preview?

Apart from it being impossible not to critique at the boobtastic art, this title is not what I expected it to be based on my initial experience back when it first started. I gave it a shot and dropped it, but flipped through a couple issues at a friend's house and that changed my mind.

This one had me chuckling. Joker was funny, his dialogue felt more natural than every other Joker appearance lately, the triangle thing with Joker/Harley/Deadshot played out in an interesting way.

Resurrection technology pretty much assures me that no way in hell is Deadshot actually "dead and gone". He's this book's link to its own history and the # 2 pop culture character anyway, so I hope they don't drag out the fact he'll be back too long. Waller's still too skinny.

But otherwise, an enjoyable issue, if not a bit too reliant on Batman # 13. It'd be better if it were self-contained more.

1 page each. 2 for El Diablo. The focus of the issue is definitely the crossover. Something does happen with Diablo tho. Some character progression.

The whole relationship should make you uncomfortable. Joker and Harley are fucked in the head and they have one of the most romantic domestic abuse relationships I hear people talk about in comics. So now I"m glad people wont be crying for her to go back to Mr.J now since we see how he treats her.
