Yep! Some of us. There are threads for the various issues. They finished off the first arc. Don't know if that's it for now, or if it's really an ongoing. So it's either 5 or 6 issues so far. Next big thing up for the Spider would seem to be the Masks mini, which has all or most of Dynamite's pulp heroes.
i love LOVE LOVE THE SPIDER!!!!!!!!!
Well,i,ve got 1-5 from ebay.
But I,m trying to get #6 variant,with the split Spider.thats a good looking cover.Due 28th Nov I believe.
I,m going to get Masks as a trade tho.
Do hope its an ongoing series.

Yes, The Spider is ongoing. My LCS had #6 listed on next week's pull list when I checked it this morning.

Definitely the best pulp hero book out there right now, I love it and I can't wait for more.
I'm enjoying it. Nice art, inventive layouts, and a pretty cool story.
And yeah, #6 comes out next week. It's on a not-quite-monthly schedule.
One of the mail order stores in UK have said they will do their very best to get the cover I want.
I,ve had a few books off them before,so they kind of remember my name :)
So,I guess this book is a bit like Green Hornet right now. That seems to be monthlyish too :)
Agree with all the comments tho.really good read and well drawn.

The Spider has become quite possibly my favorite book from Dynamite and it has nestled into my top 5 monthly reads since it's launch. Seriously, everything about this book is phenomenal, just look at the finely crafted writing and the amazing art that has graced this book so far and you'll see just what I mean. I love how the book cliffhangs on certain issues or reveals some major plot twist toward the end that hooks you for the next issue, I get very excited to read The Spider when it hits stands and I'm really pumped for what this series holds in the future.
Amazing stuff!

LOL! That's why I love The Spider. Amidst all the thrills and suspense, it makes me laugh, too. It's just plain fun. Just read #6, but I'm a little miffed that the "Next Issue" box basically spoils what could have been a major shocking surprise for #7. :(
