I enjoy the art and overall story but I felt these books move too slowly for my taste.

I just can't get into Kindt's artwork, despite repeated attempts. I'm not saying he's a bad artist; he's very good at one he does, it's just not my thing. It's just feels too low-budget and unpolished for my tastes.
