Animals sense weakness, sharks smell blood in water
Ishmael, Moses and Job, knew the divine order.
Well, I hope they get their shit together soon.
Disney just bought Lucasfilm, while WB is too busy fighting with itself.

As I said on the thread, I dont' feel that Diane Nelson has done anything positive for DC or the DC brand. So far as I can tell, the only tangible difference her involvement has made is a sharper look at sales, and a push for more 'bankable' work out of DC and Vertigo.
So I don't care.

Does this have anything to do with DC other than the movie stuff because if it doesn't i really don't care
Seriously, I hope the moderators move ALL the Justice League movie-related threads into *1* thread. Because the thread explosion on this topic is getting more than a bit out of hand.
The issue is that Jeff Bewkes at WB has encouraged "friendly" competition amongst 3 parties at WB--movie head Jeff Robinov, TV head Rosenblum and Home Entertainment head Tsujihara--for the goal of landing the position of President of WB. The problem is, a cold war has allegedly broken out for landing the job--and everyone on the lot is on edge.
This means given that it could be any of the 3 promoted or it could be a total outsider (thus ticking off everyone) so there is very little job security and nobody is happy. Thus, people are afraid to re-up their contracts at WB...including people at DC Entertainment.
Bewkes appears to have gotten the opposite of what he wanted. Instead of everyone working hard together trying to do their best and prove themselves, instead people are taking sides and are afraid of cooperating with those outside their departments for fear of appearing disloyal--or alienating someone if they side with the "wrong" person. This directly affects film and TV production because the 3 heads and their teams are not fully cooperating with each other. Nobody is playing nice; everyone is on edge.
Worse still, if Robinov lands the title of President? Well, Justice League is *his* baby, his #1 priority. So if he gets the promotion, there's no guarantee the next head of film will share his enthusiasm for Justice League--and that could kill the project. Robinov has gone out of his way to champion the JL movie. Whatever happens to him can indeed directly effect the film and also all DC movies.
As far as Diane Nelson goes, Robinov was the one who courted her to head the new DC Entertainment. So if she bails, he's got to find someone else. And all of this is happening at a WB lot filled with allegedly unhappy employees divided into 3 camps and scared to choose sides or risk the appearance of disloyalty if they cooperate with those who aren't in their department. People are worried about their job security given that there are 4 possible outcomes to who becomes WB President.
We'll see how all these corporate politics shake out. If Nelson decides things are not stable and/or Robinov gets promoted, demoted or resigns, then yes, it will directly affect production of all DC movies.
LOL arnt there so many TV shows making fun of this type of experience. u think a big company like WB would know how to handle its company. I guess not
I don't mind delays in a JL or Flash movie, because to be honest, the longer the put them off, the better chance I believe of them getting anything right about them. Go ahead and put those off until 2020 for all I care. But I'd hate for production of the now-running Arrow tv show to get messed up, and I'd hate to see them fail to jump on production of a follow up Man of Steel movie, in the event it manages to be good.
