The Walking Dead continues to be an anomaly among comics. It's not overly hyped. It's not heavily marketed like Avengers vs. X-men or the New 52. Yet it sells. It really does defy a lot of trends and I think that's a good thing. I hope Marvel and DC take notice. Even with all the hype and variants from Uncanny Avengers, it still didn't outsell Walking Dead #100. I think that says a lot about what Marvel is trying to do with Marvel NOW! I suspect that Marvel will get a nice bump because of the relaunch, but DC will get one as well with the Trinity War and Death of the Family. Yet if Walking Dead continues to be a top seller despite Marvel and DC's efforts, I think that'll prove they're not learning from this anomaly.

No wonder Marvel have so many events comics every year. 2 Batman,JLA,Green Lantern in top 10.

Only Avengers,Hulk sell that much in their monthly in comics from.

It is also interesting to see how farther down the list, the non-event,non-team book comics are. Michonne one shot outselling Daredevil heh.
