I'm sure many may not agree, but in the right creative hands Icon could be a true breakout hit/star for DC . Maybe Brad Meltzer/Phil Jimenez?

i recently read the first icon graphicnovel and i have to agree with you. Icon is more than black Superman and deserves a shot. Hardware could use some exposure too.

Brad Meltzer, absolutely not. He lacks nuance and sensitivity, and would likely miss the point of the Milestone 'verse.

Jimenez can draw anything, so yeah.

I'd love to see Icon, Rocket, and Hardware get some love (Though Hardware, at least, has appeared in the short lived nu52 Static Shock series). Rocket's appearances on Young Justice might have helped with her recognition factor, though admittedly not by much.

Yeah, wasn't this the reason that Young Justice was pulled (along with the DC Nation block), because it featured some of the Milestone characters?

I think they need to get this squared away before we see anymore of Icon and the rest of Milestone.

No? That was just a theory. If it was down to characters the creators of the shows would've known about it since it would've involved legal issues, but the whole thing came as a shock to them.
