Another user asked her about their financial situation, unless you're saying that her quip about "when we had the money" was planted there intentionally. If it's true and she's just stating the way it was/is then I don't see a problem with it. Marvel is a business after all not a charity so it's believable.

I thought Joe Q's attitude to long time fans stank but this.....
Dave was a legend. Sad to see the corporation he helped make a success refer to him as 'washed up'. Nothing in the world is as bad as being made to feel useless. Don't worry Joe. Your time will come. No one is fashionable for ever.
Imagine what they would do to Todd McFarlane if Marvel had had their way? They would seize Spawn and all of his Image creations from him on the basis that they were created while he was drawing Spider-Man!!!
Let's say this loud: Marvel's legacy was builded on ripping-off artists like Kirby, or Cockrum.
We all know it. Question is, has anything changed?
Say No to decompressed storytelling!
edit: i was being an arsehole. ignore this post.
It should be noted the Cockrums did get a deal and it was expanded to his wife. She's only saying payments are less now.
I guess it gives many fans satisfaction imagining some creators, especially veterans or retirees being unrewarded with some sort of cruelty.
