Without giving the Marvel team any prep, PC Darkseid stomps them.

They've got a good chance with prep though, mostly thanks to Classic Strange.

Well, at the top of his game PC Darkseid could teleport planets and only fled when faced with 3 billion Daxamites.

He could crush Kryptonian heads with his bare hands, or so it seemed. He absorbed Mordu's powers - Strange level?

He Omega beamed PC Superboy away.

    He'll be tough.

This depends on if we grant Darkseid prep too, since if so he could(I think) show up with a bunch of PC Superman clones, among other things.

I didn't mention giving Darkseid prep.

What's PC Darkseid's transmutation resistance like?

Or do we just grant him "LOL-NO" status for stuff like that?

Well one of the Legion members can transmute, but I'm not sure if he ever tried it on Darkseid.

Element Lad was there in the Great Darkness Saga and was part of the big Legion group blast that rescued Supergirl when Darkseid was using his "EXPERIENCE PAIN!" move on her. It's not mentioned if he deliberately tried to transmute him but it did nothing.

And then Darkseid obliterate the Legion in an instant using a variety of powers including transmutation so... I'd be fine with the idea of him being able to resist transmutation without some serious power behind it.

Being fair, there's really not a lot else Element Lad could have been trying to do with that.

    Cogent point.

It's still a little bit of a weak basis for transmutation resistance for my blood but one would wonder what else Element Lad would have been doing there.

Element Lad was using his transformation powers - he did the lead in the atmosphere for the Daxamites.

So may he tried to turn DS into a prune danish and it didn't work. The combined blast didn't kill Darkseid, he skeedaddled over the charge of the 3 billion Daxamites who weren't under his control anymore.

going by statements Darkseid wasn't at the top of his game though, supposedly he was still a shadow of his former self after draining Mordru and the Time Trapper, the Legion's two mot powerful foes up til then.

Yep, I don't know if we've ever even seen a fully powered Darkseid(storywise I mean). I like to believe they were all avatars of some greater being who just got lazy after the crisis, thus explaining the power loss.
