No. It a duplicate of Kwannon's body, and with Spiral around and the mental imprint of Betsy Braddock erased, there was the glimmer of hope that it might have been Revanche, or at the very least, a Psylocke 5.0.

No, I don't want her dead again either. When Vargas killed her off a long time ago, I threw a fit and couldn't bring myself to read comic books anymore until they brought her back. The only thing I don't want is another mind/body swap again. I want them to keep her in her Asian body with her British personality and move on from that whole storyline, not necessarily forget it since it is part of her past and has helped shaped her personality to what it is now, but stop revisiting it.

Sounds like we were in the same boat back then.

And I agree with you now as well. People need to stop obsessing over what race Psylocke is and how diverse she is or isn't. Just enjoy her...or don't...as a character and leave it at that.

I wasn't expecting or hoping for her death--just a fundamental change in the character, like she is totally white or totally Japanese inside (AKA: this thread's premise). You can't tell either way from the new UXF solits.

Good grief. Why not just restore the original white Betsy Braddock to England and have a separate Asian Psylocke?

We should have a third body swap.

    Excellent thief prowess

Psylocke spin-off where she complains to herself about her multiple personalities, while also stealing high-value items. Comic fantasy adventure with a strong dose of melodrama.

She can go from an Elektra rip-off to a Typhoid Mary rip-off.

Maybe throw in an "are-they-or-arent-they" mysterious sensual relationship with Daredevil, really drive it home

    heh
the 'cliffhanger' of Betsy losing her memory or sense of self was a temporary bummer, but it's been well worth while seeing all these woeful Betsy-haters hot and bothered over their dashed expectations.
    Nice work, Remender.

Black Psylocke is already a thing. Ask Washout.
