Default Thorkell (Vinland Saga) Vs Dian Wei (The Ravages of Time)

Vinland Saga's absurdly strong Viking takes on The Ravages of Time's resident berserker

While some are familiar with Thorkell, I'll provide feats for Dian Wei as The Ravages of Time is much much longer than Vinland Saga in terms of chapters (which I will list here but you will have to see the chapters yourselves to get the full experience):

-Chapter 96, Dian Wei breaks through the attacks of archers, Zhang Fei, and Liaoyuan Huo aka Zhao Yun to get through Tao Qian's army to behead the latter with ease. All while also scouting for Cao Cao, which helped through their war campaign.

-Chapter 112, out of a group that includes himself, 3 of Cao Cao's generals, and Cao Cao's bodyguard Xu Chu, Dian Wei is arguably the only one who nearly gets a hit at Lu Bu...Then the latter proceeds to curbstomp all of them soon afterwords with his bare hands. Then again...

-(Chapter 119 and 123), Dian Wei begins to show his berserker side, allowing himself to be impaled by ten spears from mooks just so he can replace his destroyed twin halberds. He then proceeds to throw and kill soldiers with said spears, unsure which unfortunate mook is Lu Bu. Lu Bu then handles the matter by taking Dian Wei out...And of course, Dian Wei stabs him in the leg with all the spears in his hands as well as overpower Lu Bu when he has the chance. Thanks to Zhang Liao, Lu Bu manages to escape.

-(Chapter 187-190), Dian Wei's last stand to protect Cao Cao. He first gets into a rematch from Liaoyuan Huo, both impaling the other with spears (Liaoyuan Huo cannot feel pain as a somewhat unusual advantage, unlike Dian Wei who gets by with sheer berserk-ness) until Dian Wei finally beats down Liaoyuan Huo with his bare hands. He then proceeds to destroy many of Zhang Xiu's army with his bare hands and nearly kills Zhang Xiu himself...Only for Liaoyuan Huo to recover and from behind, slashed Dian Wei in half. Barely alive, Dian Wei calls out for his lower half to join him in finishing the job together, Zhang Xiu finally giving the death blow.

-Chapter 191, he is beheaded...So he's really dead cause his final moments were that insane.

So, can Thorkell take on Dian Wei?

    What's his best strength feat?

It sounds like he's got a much better soak than Thorkell but Thorkell is crazy strong - chucking around tree trunks as weapons and giant boulders with ease. Also, sending Thorfinn flying like... 30 metres into the air with a kick. Unless he's got some decent strength feats, I'd back Thorkell just overpowering him.

Hmmm, Dian Wei did slightly overpowered Lu Bu (who can lift the rather large and powerful Xu Chu, who has lifted a stone pillar despite getting his ass kicked two times, with no problems and is the finest examples of a one man army in the story) but he honestly surprised the Hell out of Lu Bu with his berserk durability, not to mention Lu Bu has just somewhat recovered from a wound against his battle against Liaoyuan Huo and the Handicapped Warriors who just used a move that supposedly usually kills someone that isn't Lu Bu with ease, which the latter group even calls it just inflicting a small wound on the man. Course, both were actually not in the best of shape, given that Dian Wei himself was beaten down by Lu Bu earlier.

In his last stand, he was using soldiers as flails and decimated entire groups before Liaoyuan Huo blindsided him in the back with a sword.

But honestly, I think Thorkell's strength is much more ridiculous, especially the kick.

He also punched a horse and knocked him down, along with his rider.

    That was crazy.

After some thought...I don't think Dian Wei doesn't really have the strength feats other than easily dismembering people and his destructive rampage with his bare hands at the very end compare to some of the other characters.

Xiahou Dun is strong enough that his spear throws can reach up the top of a mountain from the ground yet can also punch a hole in a stone pillar, his left eye allowing him to see far distances making him somewhat a human sniper rifle. Xu Chu as mentioned, has lifted a large stone pillar despite having suffered two beat downs from Lu Bu, didn't bitch once about his wounds, and hurls the pillar at his enemies. Then he would later cross a deep river while carrying a horse...While Cao Cao was on it so both Cao Cao and the horse wouldn't drown (Xu Chu was underwater the whole time until they came across, their pursuers baffled as Hell when they realize they can't cross themselves).

While Dian Wei is damn near unstoppable, it finally took a highly skilled warrior/assassin who feels no pain (Liaoyuan Huo) to attack him from behind with a sword to end his rampage by slicing him in two...And yet he still wouldn't die right off the bat. So while lacking the strength feats compare to the others...He's basically able to soak up more damage than anyone really should.
