Black Panther showed up and died. That was the best BP appearance i've ever seen.
And the way it wrapped up was beautiful. Cosmic annihilation avoided by Doc Strange taking his nubile TA out to eat. At a diner. "Kindness is the most impossible act"
And then jump-cut to black, Godard-style. Roll credits.
Still no answer to the question in the thread title.
le sigh...

She'd be great on X-factor with the upcoming hell storyline. She does have a history with mephisto.
Or with Scott cuz she has leaned towards the darkside in the past and she's pretty powerful
X-Factor could use a super power like Magma, but I'd rather see her in one of the main xbooks taking orders from someone of legitimate authority rather than playing extra for the likes of PADs golden boy.
Are the women in X-Factor just there to prop up the ridiculous assemblage of pathetic male characters in the book? They've all taken a motherly tone of asexual domineering, compared to the cartoonishly bungling buffoonery of the opposite gender.
I don't think the women have taken a backseat. Layla's directing them all, Po told Havok to beat it and Monet FINALLY unzipped her shirt again. Good stuff. Magma would just bloat this cast though.
Wanda Maximoff is a joke!
darknessatnoon: Was Xavier's dream to marry a vibrator and steal children from other families?
My feelings for Magma are really nil. Her only good stories involved her getting her own back on Selene, and confronting her brainwashing, and then in X-Necrosha she was completely sidelined, and it killed the character for me completely.
I don't think she's got a core central concept in her history that drives the character. So maybe she's perfect for the Avengers.
This is very true. I might have enjoyed the backstory development that Polaris got when she came into the book, but her voice is starting to read as an odd combination of mother-hen Banshee and angry-teenager Monet. The women of X-Factor are never allowed to be comical without the punch-line being at the male characters' expense. Instead they're all "pillars of strength" or tragic figures with broken hearts. Feral was the only exception.
If MONET consented to let the Multiple Peen inside her and enjoyed it, then he must be good at something.
Also, if Layla desires, she can have instant orgy with Jamie. Oh the possibilities...
(I LOVE your avatar btw. Martha forever!!!) I know opinion is divided on how PAD has written women as of late, but I feel like he's the only one capable enough to turn Magma's mess of a backstory into something future writers could springboard off of a la Polaris. I would suggest Hickman if his cast wasn't so large already, but at this point, I'll take her being a regular anywhere.
