Alright, I'm pretty sure those first four pages aren't from Saga.

But it would be pretty awesome if it was revealed early on that Saga is part of the Invincible universe but are way too far away for them to crossover.

Yeah, at first I thought, "Okay, this book is a hodge-podge of different sci-fi/fantasy ideas, maybe this is just a new concept?" By the time we got to super-powers, though, I knew it had to be from somewhere else.

I like Marko's Parents are very hateful and predigest towards wingies. I am gonna enjoy the dynamic between them trying to get along.

    Christ shitballs.

This issue was amazing, as always.

This is, by far, the best thing BKV has ever done.

This book is awesome, and if you don't read it you fail at life.

Probably my favorite current ongoing title.

My only critique of this issue? Needs more Lying Cat. Where did Fiona Staples come from, and how did she get this good?

First I saw of her was on Wildstorm's Secret History: Jack Hawksmoor written by Mike Costa.

She was good, but not THIS good. Jeez.

Hm. Might try looking that up, then.

    Anyway, fantastic issue, as ever.

I'm a little surprised it's not a 5 star review as it reads a bit better than previous issues. It's a pick of the week in my reviews at the link in my signature and I' sticking to it.

And really Vaughn deserves props, as I for one wasn’t sure if he could pull of the dynamics between parents and son, parents and daughter in law so effectively. You get a sense, with only a few blips of dialogue that there are ingrained issues, a history if you will, between the characters.

Plus the flipping genital-ed giant! I posted a picture of said giant here.
