I agree with you in where/when the movie's conflict ended. But the title of the flick is Lincoln, not The Repealing of the 13th Amendment. Spielburg wasn't making 12 Angry Men. He could have also just as easily cut Jeff Gordon-Levit's role.

It feels to me that Spielburg is trying too hard to make an "important film" rather than a film about an important topic.

I also loathed War Horse. So there's that.

My 7 year old nieces and nephews got into this game last year but they also moved on to Angry Birds, Mario kart, etc. Then they go back to an older game they liked. It's scary how much they pick up. They each have Kindles they got from Christmas so that their Dad can get his Ipad back from them.

There is an entire isle in Babies R Us dedicated to items such as "Babies 1st iPhone" along with real iPhone/iPad protective covers and whatnot. Which is both sad and amazing.

I find it really funny that people moan about Aaron pushing his class instead of the New X-Men era class like Surge and Rockslide, because QQ is part of that class, and has probably been in cumulatively less comics than those characters.
