DC's management is absolute crap.

From that story about the muslim hero they replaced with another book and didn't even tell the artist or writer, to just plain not clueing most of their writers in on what other writers are doing.

I mean, Grant Morrison wasn't even telling George Perez what he was doing in his book, and that's the prequel book to the Superman book Perez was writing. It got to the point where he handed the editors the script and says "I didn't really care, you guys are going to rewrite the whole thing anyways."
