    I'm sorry, what was that?

No way will it be an immediate or early dud, and NO WAY IN HELL will it be "the bust of the Marvel NOW lineup". Not with that creative team. No a chance.

He had the same aspirations of any other writer...do to a big marquee title like a Spider-Man (which he edited for a while). So when they offered him BP, he took it because he decided to write him like Batman, the title he really wanted to work on. That's how T'Challa ended up having Galactus protocols tucked away, etc.
Like i said pandering to certain BP fans.
but anyway it doesn't matter. If i do pick up the book it might be an issue in which Doc strange does something cool.

Aspects of two issues do not an entire prolonged direction of a line make.

    Uh, and?

Your jumps in logic/presumed links between things are bizarre.

Maleev is nowhere near the draw McNiven is, and I just outlined that Bendis can no longer keep a book high on the chart solely based on his name alone if it isn't super well-received or buzz worthy. MK also got nowhere near the push GotG is, nor did it have an upcoming film to piggy back off of.

Not really...he's just paying his respects to Priest. I doubt Hickman thinks or cares about what goes on at CBR.

...and a certain Latverian *may* figure in somehow.

    Spider-Woman.
Heck, is he still doing that all ages book with the girl superheroes? Point being, Bendis doesn't instantly sell. Just because he and some other big artist are on GOTG doesn't guarantee it won't sick anymore. Maybe some Iron Man fans will pick it up, but it's doubtful, especially since his Avengers Assemble run didn't do so well and it had the GOTG.

Adding cosmic characters teeeeends to say "We're cosmic now." I mean, the universe talks to them in issue 6. That sounds pretty cosmic to me.

If Moon Knight couldn't sell with Spider-Man, Wolverine and Cap's other personalities, what chance does GOTG has with just Iron Man? And I don't think a better artist is going to be the thing that will keep the book afloat.

You are losing your mind; that was MY point.

The other aspects surrounding GotG will make it successful in the early going.

To think even for a second that it will be the bust of NOW! is insanity. You think it's gonna do worse than Morbius? Fearless Defenders? Red She-Hulk? JiM? Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Defenders was hyped up pretty well. I'm just sayin, you never know.

Also, Moonrise Kingdom was good and took place in my hometown. For example, the church was the church I used to go to.

Characters mostly and it doesn't even have to be my favorite.
