I'd just like to point out that you were saying the book was an excuse for Hopeless indulge his Arcade fetish, but in that same interview he says he came up with the concept before deciding on Arcade as the villain which makes the most logical sense for the book (which he is)

If there's one movie genre I know bits about and still adore, it's Italian genre stuff (esp. the spaghetti westerns and Italian slashers (gialli.). Although I'll take any schlock from the 60s/70s and early 80s cinematically.

I will pine ignorance for the latter part of your post Hurnslice,beyond comics, I don't read much unless it's scholarly historical or meteorology based.

Spaghetti Westerns! Nice. Those go into some weird territory on the outskirts of that genre. I hope you've seen a few Kurosawa Samurai flicks (or Samurai flicks in general) - ya wouldn't have had the Spaghetti's without 'em.

I went on a hard core Western bender in general a few years back. Go watch High Noon! (the black and white one)
